Designing an Integrated Sustainable Supply Chain Model and its Impact on Global Competitiveness Performance by Case Study of the Turkish Pharmaceutical Industry
Designing a model to investigate the impact of integration on sustainable supply chain performance mediated by competitiveness in Turkish pharmaceutical companies is the main objective of this study. Therefore, it falls into the category of applied research and in terms of implementation; It falls into the category of descriptive-causal studies. For this purpose, a questionnaire was used to collect research data. The statistical population of this study includes manufacturing companies active in the Turkish pharmaceutical industry. The data were collected from 146 companies. The statistical sample of the study includes company executives with at least 5 years of experience in the company. Because it is important to have a general understanding of different topics in the supply chain. Thus, 98 companies were selected through Cochran's formula for calculating sample size. For statistical inference of research variables, factor analysis, multiple regressions, and correlation tests were used. The proposed model is solved using the SPSS24 and SmartPLS software. A questionnaire with Cronbach's alpha of 0.91 including a 5-point Likert Scale was used for data collection. The results show that supply chain integration is very effective on world-class performance and competitiveness. It has also been proven that competitiveness affects world-class performance.
