Proposed Soul Management Model for Organizational Performance: An Islamic Perspective
This conceptual paper aims to develop inner life of mankind using the SOUL management construct (Sincerity, Optimisation, Ultimate and Law). Given that immoral behaviour impedes of high performance of organisations, they are concerned with correcting the deviant behaviour issues of their workforce. However, despite an emphasis on decent behaviour, organisations tend to fail in developing their employees’ morally which has had adverse effects on their performance. By way of a potential solution, this study proposes the SOUL Management Model to cultivate decent behaviour in the organisation for improved performance.
