The study of the causal relation model of OTOP’s creative design development to improve value-added product: case study of vetiver grass handicraft in Udornthani province. The objectives of this research were 1) for exploring the causal factors of the competitive capacity and 2) for examining the consistency of causal model between competitive capacity and performance outcomes. The researcher conducted this research by using quantitative research methodology and collecting data instrument by questionnaires. The survey concentrated on vetiver grass leaves for handicraft bags of community enterprises. The sampling derived from systematic random sampling and product cluster sampling. The received questionnaires had totally 400 cases. There were statistics used for data analysis such as frequency distribution, average, percentage, and the analysis of structural equation modeling by using LISREL program.
