Critical thinking in STEM education: the role of motivation factors
This study aims to determine the role of motivation in the success of an individual STEM worker, as well as its role in the competitiveness and leadership of STEM organizations in the industry. In a STEM specialist competency profile, critical thinking is an extremely important component, especially for the generations Y and Z. For this reason, motivation, critical thinking and leadership were set to an analysis in interaction. Findings show that the corporate culture of a company and its brand are a rather powerful tool to both develop STEM employees and lay groundwork for critical thinking. The developments here are universal in nature and can be applied both in the national and international practice of personnel development and management in the STEM field.
