RESOURCE SHARING: DIGITAL ECONOMIC COMMUNITY MEDIATION

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to study the mediation of the digital economic community in the context of the digital economy expansion. To achieve the goal, we have analyzed and studied the latest digital economy trends in different countries of the world, their scale, number, and potential economic consequences. The study examines digital economy components on the basis of a three-dimensional model. It has been revealed that a new form of digital economic community has emerged in the context of expanding digitalization; it involves innovation, knowledge, and employment that circulate regardless of national borders, but at the same time, are connected through active interactions of the online community on digital platforms. The owners of digital platforms are the mediators of the digital economic community. In this regard, digital platforms simultaneously implement the function of social and technical mediation and business organization. The platform priorities are rapid scalability, transparency, and integration in the international community. A platform-based business model is of a venture capital investment structure that uses the potential of platforms to realize monopoly profit.
