Peculiarities of National Consciousness Formation among Students in Schools of the Republic of Kazakhstan
Implementation of the standards of the Council of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in the practice of formation and implementation of educational policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan makes actual the issues related to the problems of spiritual unity and continuity of generations, formation of national consciousness and new Kazakh patriotism. This situation made the Kazakh education system to actualize for the purpose of education of the qualified and competitive citizen. Such situation opens the role of knowledge not only from the point of economic benefit, but also from the point of view of education of the future generations of Kazakh citizens. The citizens who can analyze the situation, have a social responsibility and empathize for the country. The novelty of the presented study consists in development of the pedagogical program for formation of national consciousness among high school students in the conditions of multicultural environment of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The mechanism of realization of the program is based on revealing the essence and features of national consciousness formation among high school students in educational space; development and justification of the pedagogical program of national consciousness formation among high school students; definition of pedagogical conditions of the program perfection as the factor of new Kazakh patriotism; approbation of the author's program for formation of national consciousness among school students during experimental work. The results of the study confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed program for the formation of national consciousness among students. It can be used by teachers of general education schools in educational and extra-curricular activities in the process of forming the national consciousness among high school students and ensure its effectiveness.
