Intercultural-Communicative Competence Formation Level in Foreign Language Education in Kazakhstan
The purpose of the article is to determine the methods of forming the intercultural and communicative competence (ICC) in second-year students in foreign language education. The leading research method is an experiment conducted in 2nd year students of nonlinguistic specialty in the amount of 30 people. The article presents the components of intercultural-communicative competence; the criteria for evaluating the ICC are revealed. The criterion developed in the research for assessing the formation of ICC is aimed at correctly identifying the degree of assimilation of educational material by students.
