Estimation of Runoff and Water distributed in Aridity Urban area Using Hydrological and Hydraulic Modelling: A Literature Review

The severe observe of Runoff in aridity zones catchment using typically available data still not enough understood. Hydrological models play a significant role to estimate water movements and its distributed. This study aims to review several hydrological modelling studies in arid areas, including the use of spatial analysis in Watershed Modelling System (WMS) Geography Information Systems (GIS) and Remotely Sensing (RS). It seeks to consider only in the most critical Hydrology and Hydraulic Modelling used in an arid zone including SWAT, KINEROS2, IHACRES, HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS. Furthermore, this review gives a fundamental of Hydrology methods that used to calculate Runoff and a short brief for 2D denominational. This review found that Hydrology Modelling is computing based on a) Loss Methods, b) Direct Runoff, and c) 2 Dimensional. Arid areas need more attention from researchers to overcome the obstacles to Hydrological Modelling identified in the study. For example, they should consider new methods for determining spatial rainfall and infiltration from transient flows that come from flash floods. RS and its Application made that Performance of Hydrology is improved. Observational data can also be enhanced by creating multiple measurement stations in affected areas
