Analysis of Network with the Program Evaluation and Review Technique (PERT) Method to Minimise Time Delay
Currently, Indonesia's construction services have started to expand, marked by a large number of developments in all areas, such as real estates, buildings, bridges, highways, and others. Construction project often has structured planning and scheduling, when planning, the project will be implemented and will be completed in order for the delay does not occur. Delays often occur due to the lack of good planning and structure. The company can use network planning methods to avoid failure to implement projects, particularly delays in the project. Kota BaruParahyangan managed by PT. BelaputeraIntiland is a subsidiary of the Lyman Group headquartered in Jakarta. In making planning based on prior experience, which is translated in the form of the curves S, it does not take into account dependencies and relationships between activities. This research uses a quantitative approach using a descriptive method, data used in this study are primary data obtained directly from the company PT. BelaputeraIntiland in the form of interviews and observation, and secondary data obtained from the planning schedule in the form of curve S, The analysis method PERT using POM QM For Windows 3.0. The results of the data processing show the planning with the curve s, doing random activities, and completing the project late from 301 to 329 need. The results of the PERT method for 308 days, 5 critical paths, and the probability of 0.16%. So, it is recommended that companies use PERT analysis to minimize delays in project completion and projected accurately and accurately.
